I really should talk about it…

Remember way back in february… when I had this amazing idea? The one that didn’t go anywhere? Yeah, the comic that’s just sitting there unfinished and unloved, that’s the one.

I should explain myself. I had the whole thing scripted and did the lay-outs, but for some strange and evil reason, stuff started happening in real life that made it damn near impossible to actually finish it. Troubles at work, an insurance company that refused to pay out, and all sorts of tiny shitty events that made life suck sweaty balls. I just gave up, thinking the whole thing cursed.

I know, it’s a cop-out, but since then I’ve been doing the odd job here and there, and I started a new story… I will make no promises this time, since last time I made them, my whole world turned to crap. So I’m doing this under the radar. I won’t have pesky Fate mess this one up for me. Things are finally looking up, and I hope it’s all going to work out for the best this time.

I think I solved the spam-problem… for the moment. That was dangerously annoying, getting fifty messages asking me to visit sites that don’t seem to exist.

Here’s the deal, I’m busy doing February. Right now I’m perfectly on shedule, and I hope I’m going to live up to that shedule. Lord knows, I’ve missed many a deadline before, but as far as February goes I’m still on track.

What’s it going to be about? It’s about a young man and his pet, taking on the world. It’s a story about growing up and moving out into the world. It’s about death and destruction and a neverending supply of magic. It’s about love and loss. It’s all of those things and at the same time it’s none of those things. I’m sort of trying out a slightly new style, and I’m playing with various colour-schemes.

February…

Because nobody demanded it… this February, I’m doing a complete story, one that isn’t connected in any shape or way to Saturn Sally or Robot Life. Completed, that means it has a beginning, a middle and an end. I’ve written the whole thing, and I’ve begun to draw the story out. With a little bit of luck I might actually make the deadline…

I’m not going to tell you what it’s going to be about just yet, but I’ll post a couple of more previews as that magical month of february approaches. Hopefully people will like it, if they do, I might actually end up with a sequel. Don’t worry about Sally, I’ll continue her story in these upcoming weeks, and in March she’ll be back with more stories.
